A new film is due for release in Norway that puts a humorous spin on the current migrant crisis occurring throughout Europe. The film, which is directed by Rune Denstad Langlo and stars Anders Baasmo Christiansen, follows Per Primus, who is a fourth generation mountain resort hotel own. He lives far up in the Norwegian mountains and is considered more racist than most. Since tourists have stopped coming to his resort, he decides to turn his business into a state-funded asylum reception centre. When the first fifty refugees show up, most of them muslim and Arabic speaking, Primus realises things are going to be harder than imagined. It only gets worse when Abedi, an endlessly annoying optimist from Congo, arrives and stars bothering Primus endlessly. Eventually, it is Abedi who is able to help Primus adapt to contemporary life.
You can view the first teaser below. The film is due for release on the 4th of March 2016 in Norway, and is produced by Motlys Film.
