Watch the first trailer for ‘Mihkel’

The first trailer for the Icelandic movie Mihkel has been released.

Seeking a better life in Iceland, Mihkel is presented with an opportunity by his childhood friend that could set him up for life. However, the deal comes with fatal consequences. Mihkel unwillingly becomes a drug mule to smuggle heroin across the border from Estonia into Iceland. But when it comes to retrieving their stash, things don’t go quite according to plan.

Mihkel is directed by Ari Alexander Ergis Magnússon and will have its world premiere at the Reykjavik International Film Festival in October. It is also screening at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
