Veni Vidi Vici Picked Up by Hulu

Swedish series Veni Vidi Vici, which premiered on MTG’s streaming service Viaplay in April, has been sold by DRG and it will make its US debut exclusively on the streaming service in December 2017. DRG will continue to offer the series to world buyers at MIPCOM next week.

Veni Vidi Vici was created by Rafael Edholm playing Vincent ‘Vinnie’ Fontana in the series. He teamed up with Santiago Gil to write the story of a struggling Danish director (played by Thomas Bo Larsen) whose decision to take a job in the adult entertainment industry has tough consequences on his life and family.

The show had its world premiere last April as part of the MIPDrama Screenings 2017. Jørgen Madsen Lindemann, MTG President and CEO said: “Veni Vidi Vici attracted big audiences in our home markets and will now be shown in the biggest entertainment market of them all. This is further proof that Nordic drama travels really well, and we are delighted to partner with one of North America’s most innovative entertainment companies to bring this gripping and challenging drama to US viewers.”
