Upcoming Danish/Icelandic film WINTER BROTHERS get sales agent

The upcoming Danish/Icelandic film Winter Brothers has been picked up by New Europe Film Sales, ScreenDaily reports.

Winter Brothers is about two brothers who live in a harsh environment during a cold winter. We follow their routines, habits, and rituals. A violent feud erupts between them and another family.

Winter Brothers is directed by Icelandic director Hlynur Pálmason and stars Danish actors Lars Mikkelsen and Elliott Crosset Hove. It is produced by Denmark’s Masterplan Pictures and Iceland’s Join Motion Pictures.

The film wrapped its six-week shoot in Faxe, Denmark, in May 2016 and will now compete in the official competition at the Locarno International Film Festival.
