Two new Swedish TV series heading to Walter Presents

Two new Swedish crime series have been picked up by Channel 4’s world drama section Walter presents, with both locking in premiere dates for 2018.

The first of the two series is Before We Die, which is about police detective Hanna who makes sure her son Christian is arrested for dealing drugs. He spends two years in prison before taking a job in a kitchen in a restaurant, which is a front for a crime family. Not before long he becomes over his head.

The second series selected is Rebecka Martinsson, an eight-part series adapted from Åsa Larsson’s crime novels. Rebecka works for a Stockholm law firm but returns to her home village near Kiruna to attend the funeral of a childhood friend. However, things aren’t right and Rebecka releases the death wasn’t accidental.

So keep an eye out for these two TV series!
