Two new Nordic television dramas heading to the UK

Nordic Noir isn’t dying down anytime soon with two new series heading to the United Kingdom.

First up is the Icelandic crime drama Case, which is directed by Baldvin Z (Life in a Fishbowl) and produced by Sagafilm. Secondly is a Norwegian series titled Hellfjord by Tommy Wirkola, which was produced by Tappeluft Pictures for NRK.

These series will head to Channel 4’s VOD service ‘Walter Presents’, which specialises in foreign language television dramas. Previously they have picked up series like Heartless, Thicker Than Water and Blue Eyes.

Case has also been sold to HBO Europe for Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
