TrustNordisk picks up Paprika Steen’s THAT TIME OF YEAR

The Scandinavian sales agency TrustNordisk has picked up actress-turned-director Paprika Steen’s Christmas movie, That Time of Year.

Describes as a ‘dramedy’, That Time of Year is an ensemble film that takes place during the festive season. It follows a family that united at Christmas Eve, and everyone has an interesting story, such as the divorced parents, the youngest sister and her new husband, or the teenage daughter trying to get her mother’s attention. As things become tense, the illusion of holiday peace shatters.

The film has a very big cast including Paprika Steen, Sofie Gråbøl, Jacob Lohmann, Lars Brygmann, Karen-Lise Mynster, Lars Knutzon, Patricia Schumann, and Fanny Leander Bornedal.

Paprika Steen is known as an actress and director in Danish film. She is perhaps best known for her role in the first Dogme film The Celebration, but has also acted and directed in Applause, Silent Heartand With Your Permission. Recently, she starred in the Danish hostage drama Below the Surface as the journalist.
