Toronto company picks up sales rights to Finland’s first superhero movie

The Canadian company Raven Banner has acquired worldwide sales rights (excluding Scandinavia) to Finland’s first superhero film, titled Rendel.

Rendel is a Finnish superhero/marked vigulante who seeks revenge and fights against a huge criminal organisation known as VALA.

This is not the first time Raven Banner have marketed a Finnish film around the world – they previously did Bunny the Killer Thing, which was also produced by Black Beaver Productions – the company doing Rendel.

Rendel stars Kristoffer Gummerus and Bianca Bradley. The film is currently in post-production with release scheduled for later this year.
