Tommy Wirkola’s English-language film recruits international cast

Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola has been slowly adding international actors to the cast of his upcoming English-language sci-fi thriller, What Happened to Monday? The director, known for the Dead Snow films, has so far recruited Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Glenn Close, Christian Rubeck (The Heavy Water War), Pal Sverre Hagen (Kon-Tiki) and Willem Dafoe.

Whatever Happened to Mondaytakes place in the near-future where families are only allowed to have one child each due to overpopulation. The film started shooting in Bucharest last week and is produced by Raffaella Productions.
