Thomas Bo Larsen stars in new Viaplay series

Danish actor Thomas Bo Larsen (Follow the Money) stars in streaming service Viaplay’s new ten-part drama, Veni Vidi Vici.

The series is about pigs, lies and forbidden fruit, and Larsen stars as Karsten Daugaard, a Danish film director going through a rough patch. His films are getting bad reviews and at home he is dominated by his wife, Jonna. Reluctantly accepting his fate, he accepts a job at his father-in-law’s organic pig farm. He is offered a way back into the film industry by his old friend Vincent, who offers him a job as a porn director.

Thomas Bo Larsen said in a press release: “It is one of the most emotional roles I’ve played for a long time. He is an ordinary man who longs to be a great artist. And that longing turns his life into a nightmare, but it also helps him find a way to his Holy Grail”.

Veni Vidi Vici premieres on the 13th of April on Viaplay. No international release date has been announced.
