The winners of the Nordisk Panorama 2016

The winners of the 27th Nordisk Panorama – the leading festival for documentaries and shorts – have now been announced.

Winning the top prize is Swedish-Polish director Jerzy Sladkowski’s Don Juan. The documentary follows Oleg, a young man suffering from autism, and his fight to become more ‘normal’, encouraged by his mother. Don Juan previously won the Best Nordic Documentary award at this years Gothenburg International Film Festival and also won Best Feature-Length Documentary at last year’s International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam.
