THE TOGETHER PROJECT wins at French film awards

The Icelandic/French film The Together Project, directed by Sólveig Anspach, has won the César Award for Best Original Screenplay at the 42nd annual César Awards in France.

Anspach co-wrote the script with Jean-Luc Gaget.

The film had its world premiere in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festiva, where it won the SACD Prize for Best French-Language Film.

In The Together Project Samir wants to make up for his past transgressions toward his swimming instructor Agathe, whom he’s madly in love with, and he follows her all the way to Iceland. But when an electric shock leaves him with amnesia, how can he make up for what he can’t remember? Can Agathe help him reclaim his memories – and his love for her?

Sólveig Anspach passed away in 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
