The third instalment of the popular Danish television series A Conspiracy of Faith was released in Denmark last week, and the reviews have started to come in from Danish media. Here are some of the comments:

“It is in the thoughtful interaction between Mørck and Assad, especially in the frantic scenes halfway through the film, that shows A Conspiracy of Faith shows a larger wingspan and a greater desire to remain with the audience” – Per Juul Carlsen, Filmland P1

A Conspiracy of Faith is deeper and more essential than the previous two films, and – I think – makes this adaptation more interesting” – Birgitte Lorentzen, BT

“One could argue that a thriller cannot be judged on its level of realism, but you have to believe the characters will act as they do. This does not happen here.” – Nanna Frank Rasmussen, Jyllands Posten

User comments posted on kino.dk were more varied, with some reviewers saying the book is better, the book has been adapted poorly, and the film is the second best of the series. Other reviewers describe it as insanely exciting, thrilling, and a very well made film.

The film is released in Norway on the 6th of May and in Germany on the 9th of June.
