The new Norwegian horror film Haunted has been sold to numerous Asian territories, Screen reports.

The film, which is directed by Carl Christian Raabe, is about a woman who travels back to her old family estate after her father’s death. When she hears stories about numerous disappearances she has to confront her family’s mysterious past.

Haunted stars Synnøve Macody Lund (Headhunters) and Danish Ken Vedsegaard (The Killing).

The film has been sold by LevelK to China (Lemon Tree), Taiwan (AvJet), Japan (Gaga), Vietnam (Green Media) and Korea (EnterMode). Haunted has also been sold to Russian distributor All Media, which plans a wide theatrical release.

Haunted was released in Norway on the 24th of November. You can watch the trailer below:
