THE MODEL sells internationally at the European Film Market

Danish director Mads Matthiesen’s The Model has been sold internationally by TrustNordisk at the European Film Market in Berlin.

Starring Maria Palm and British actor Ed Skrein, The Model was launched at the Goteborg Film Festival in competition before its Danish premiere on the 11th of February. The film follows emerging model Emma, who gets her chance to pursue her dream of becoming an international top model. She leaves Danish life behind and heads to Paris, where she meets attractive photographer Shane White and they fall in love. However, their relationship soon turns into a dangerous obsession for Emma.

The Model has been sold to Latin America, China, Russia, Hungary, Turkey, Estonia, Lithuania, former Yugoslavia, France, Poland, Korea, Bulgaria and the Middle East. No release dates have been announced.
