The first sneak peak at season two of JORDSKOTT is here

The Swedish television series Jordskott is back with a second season!

The new season will consist of eight episodes and will premiere in the autumn/fall of 2017 on the Swedish pubcaster SVT. The lead actress, Moa Gammel, is due to reprise her role as Eva Thörnblad. The cast also consists of Happy Jankell, Richard Forsgren and Goran Ragnerstam.

According to the creator/writer Henrik Bjorn, the second season will focus more on Eva’s character and background, and will also take place two years after the first season.

“In season two we will get to know her and understand her connection to the events that happened to her in the first season. Not just her realisation that there is something out there, but also how she handles her trauma with her daughter. We are thrown into her new ‘every day’ when the season starts, but I will not reveal where or what it is” Bjorn said to Sweden’s newspaper, Expressen.

But fear not! We have a nice teaser trailer to keep us occupied until we hear more about the story.
