The first clips have been released for the American version of SKAM

The hit Norwegian series Skam has been adapted in the USA, and the first footage has been uploaded.

Titled Skam Austin, the series is being broadcast on Facebook’s US streaming service. In a similar style to the Norwegian version, the American Skam will allow viewers to follow the characters on social media, gaining an insight into their lives. The first clips were uploaded onto Facebook.

The original Skam creator and screenwriter, Julie Andem, has also written the American series.

Skam concluded in Norway in 2017, and has since been picked up to be adapted in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and France.
