The creators of ‘Jordskott’ have a new television series

The creators of the hit Swedish supernatural television series Jordskott are currently filming a new sci-fi thriller series aimed at teens, the Nordisk Film og TV Fond reports.

Called Dream, the series starts when an asteroid hits an island. A young girl discovers that three of her classmates have had the same dream as her, a dream of their future as adults. They also learn through the dreams that a horrible accident is going to take place, and they are the only ones who can stop it.

The series is based on an idea by Palladium Fiction’s joint-MD Johan Rudolphie. Filip Hammarström is showrunner and co-wrote the show with rising screenwriter Aaron Levander (The Truth Will Out) and Dunja Vujovic.

Two seasons are being filmed back to back on location in Gotland. Filming has been taking place since August, and the release date will be in 2019.

A third season of Jordskott has not been confirmed.
