The Bridge Season 3 Returns, No Kim Bodnia in Sight

Over in TV land, the great website scanoir.co.uk has accounted that The Bridge will be making a comeback, but Kim Bodnia doesn’t look to be a part of it. They said via Facebook:

Fantastic news for fans of ‘The Bridge’ as one of the most popular series returns! Season 3 will commence filming in September 2014 and will air in the autumn of 2015.I am trying to avoid spoilers here but I can tell you that we will see the character of Saga develop further as she is thrown into working with a host of new colleagues ”We have lots left to tell about Saga Norén. Now we can also introduce viewers to exciting new characters and develop their relationships I promise that no one will be disappointed” said writer Hans Rosenfeldt. It is looking unlikely that Kim Bodnia will feature in this third season, unfortunately. But,of course,I will bring you more news as it unfolds…

More news coming in regarding The Bridge 3 with it looking increasingly unlikely that Kim Bodnia will return to the new series ”We have had different ideas about content. Kim Bodnia was not happy with how the role of the character evolved. It’s sad that it happened but we must move on and accept it” says Anders Landström producer of the film company Filmlance, to Sydsvenskan.
The ten hour-long sections will be recorded in Malmö, Copenhagen and Ystad this autumn.
