The Bridge is arguably one of the most popular Nordic Noir television series to come from Sweden, but it seems that it isn’t just the international audience going crazy over the Danish/Swedish series, with Saga becoming one of the top baby names in Sweden.
Saga was the fastest climbing baby name in 2015, rising from 21st in 2014 to 4th place. The name, which translates roughly to ‘fable’ or ‘story’, has been around for centuries and is believed have been used by the old Norse goddess of poetry and history, who is also known as Frigg.
