Take a look at the latest Finnish film, MIAMI

The latest Finnish film to be released in the region is Miami, which is directed by Zaida Bergroth.

Miami follows the glamourous exotic dancer Angela, who arrives in a tiny Finnish town with her exotic dancer pals, only to get mixed up with some bad dudes once the show is over. Angela hightails it out of town, armed with a brand-new sidekick, he shy half-sister Anna. Their reunion turns into something of a run for their lives, with Angela teacher her sister the tricks of the trade along the way.

Miami is currently screening at the Nordic Film Market at the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund, and will also screen at the Toronto International Film Festival next month. It had its local premiere on the 4th of August. So far it has a 6.1/10 on IMDb.

Miami stars Krista Kosonen (The Midwife) as Angela and Sonja Kuittinen as Anna.

Miami has been picked up by the Danish sales agency LevelK, and hopefully they will sell the film around the world so we can see it.
