Swedish screenwriters event to take place in Poland

Scripts by twelve Swedish writers will be presented in Poland tomorrow, Cineuropa Reports.

Stories included in the list are ones for young adults, an animated television series, romantic stories, a psychological thriller among the ruins of Chernobyl (pictured), a crime mini-series and a story about a gifted tween magician.

The rights for all of the scripts are available.

The Swedish-Polish event will unspool in Warsaw for the second time. ‘Meet the Swedish Screenwriters’ has already been organised four times in Berlin, and now the initiative is expanding to more European cities, including London.

20% of screenwriters who pitch their projects have signed a contract with a producer.
