Sweden’s MIDNIGHT SUN has a British premiere date

The Swedish/French co-production Midnight Sun is set to premiere in the UK this month on Sky Atlantic.

The series has a release date of the 15th of March.

Midnight Sun, which was hugely popular in Sweden and recently streamed in Australia, follows a gruesome crime that takes place in the remote Swedish town of Kiruna, above the Arctic Circle. A Frenchman is murdered, and French police officer Kahina Zadi (Leila Bekhti) heads to the mining community to investigate. Alongside DA Anders Hanesk (Gustaf Hammarsten), they realise that this murder is just the beginning. Midnight Sun intertwines typical Nordic Noir crime with Sami mythology and folklore.

All eight episodes will also be available at once with Sky Box Sets.
