Sweden film admissions January – July 2015


Swedish film admissions have been stable in the first half of 2015, with 8 million admissions – a figure that is up 1.4% from the same time last year. With a 15.8% market share, Swedish films had the lowest admissions in the last five years – compared with 28.2% last year.

Two Swedish films earned a spot in the top 10 – Micke & Veronica and The Anderssons Rock the Mountain. Those in the industry are hopeful that admissions will be up to a 20% market share by the end of the year.
