Susanne Bier

Susanne Bier’s six part series The Night Manager has been pre-sold to several key international broadcasters, the Nordisk Film and TV Fund reports. The English language series has been produced for the BBC in the UK and AMC in the USA, and has already been sold to the Nordic territories and Europe, Latin America, and Russia.

Based on John le Carré’s best-selling novel, The Night Manager follows former British soldier Jonathan Pine (played by Tom Hiddleston) as he navigates the shadowy recesses of Whitehall and Washington where an unholy alliance operates between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. Hugh Laurie has been as a lethal arms dealer, and the series will be delivered in early 2016.
