Swedish actress Sofia Helin, known as the star of The Bridge, is set to star in Eric Styles’ The Good Night, an adaptation of the 1996 play of the same name by NJ Crisp.

The story is based on a well-known Dylan Thomas poem and follows the story of Ralph, a famed screenwriter who is coming to terms with his impending death. As he does so, he resolves to attempt two final missions in life; to be reconciled with his long-lost son and to ensure he doesn’t become a burden to his wife Anna, most likely who Helin will play.

Helin will star alongside John Hurt, Erin Richards and Max Brown.

The film is a British production, and will be produced by GSP Studios. No release date is yet to be confirmed.
