SF Studios announces new Head of Film Production

Swedish production company SF Studios has announced that Annika Sucksdorff will be the new head of film production in Sweden.

Sucksdorff is the previous CEO of Helsinki Filmi and has produced titles including Tom of FinlandThe Mine and Heart of a Lion.

SF Studios says that hiring Sucksdorff marks a key step in the company’s expansion and focus on upscale films for mainstream audiences.

Sucksdorff replaces Fredrik Wikström Nicastro, who will remain at the company with a new job as senior VP of international production. He has previously worked on Easy Money, A Man Called Ove, Borg/McEnroe and co-productions The Wave and The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Maki.
