See Alexander Skarsgård in the first trailer for MUTE

The first trailer for the highly anticipated Mute has been released, and boy is it full of neon!

The film stars Alexander Skarsgård and is set forty years in the future in Berlin. Leo Beiler (Skarsgård) is a mute bartender has one reason for remaining in the city, which has been practically destroyed, and that reason has disappeared. When Leo’s search takes him deeper into the city’s underbelly, an odd pair of American surgeons (led by Paul Rudd) seem to be the only recurring clue, and Leo can’t tell if they are there to help or if he should fear them.

Mute is directed by Duncan Jones, who has described it as the second film in a trilogy that he began with Moon.

Skarsgård is receiving a lot of praise at the moment after winning four awards for his role in Big Little Lies.

Mute will be released on the 23rd of February on Netflix.
