Screenwriter Nikolaj Peyk to direct his first feature
Renowned Danish screenwriter Nikolaj Peyk has started principal photography for his first feature film, titled Undercover, on location in Copenhagen, Slagelse and Svendborg in Denmark.
Written by Danish comedian Casper Christensen (who co-wrote and stars in Klown Forever), the film follows Rikke, alledgedly Denmark’s worst police officer, who is looking forward to Christmas with roast duck and rislamande. But on Christmas Eve she is assigned her first undercover mission: she must follow petty criminal and crown witness Mick to the island of Funen, before an infamous gangster boss and his minions get their hands on him and the money he has stolen.
Danish television star Linda P plays the lead and this is her first feature film. Roland Møller also features in a cast including Paprika Steen, Anders Baasmo Christensen, Casper Crump and Ali Kazim.
Shooting will continue until the 3rd of May, and then the film will be released domestically by Scanbox Entertainment on the 24th of November.
