The Swedish director Ruben Östlund will head the jury of the 10th edition of the Les Arcs Film Festival in France.
Östlund is an acclaimed director known for his films Force Majeure, Play and the Palme d’Or-winning and Oscar nominated The Square.
His jury will award the festival’s Crystal Arrow, the top prize at the festival. The Les Arcs Film Festival takes place in the French ski resort Les Arcs from the 15th until the 22nd of December. The focus for this year’s festival is Poland.
Östlund’s next film is The Triangle of Sadness, which is about a pair of models who find themselves at a crossroads in their careers. He is also set to write the remake of Force Majeure, which was announced by Julia Louis-Dreyfus in 2017, though nothing has been updated about it.
