RAMS wins Best Narrative Feature at Hamptons

Rams has won the HIFF Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Hamptons International Film Festival.

Rams is currently in the middle of a strong festival run that began with winning the Un Certain Regard prize at the Cannes Film Festival in May. To date the film has been in competition at seven international film festivals, winning the main prize at five of them, and eight awards overall. It has also screened out of competition at a number of festivals, including the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and the Telluride Film Festival.

Rams is Iceland’s entry for the 2016 Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. It is also one of the 52 films on the European Film Academy’s selection list for the European Film Awards, along with Icelandic writer/director Dagur Kári’s Virgin Mountain.
