RAMS to screen in Belfast this week

The hugely successful Icelandic film Rams will have a free screening this week in Belfast.

Part of the Belfast Free Libraryæs Friday Night Flix, Rams will screen at 7pm.

Rams is set in a remote Icelandic farming valley, where two brothers who haven’t spoken in 40 years have to come together in order to save what’s dearest to them – their sheep. The film won thirty awards around the world when it did the festival circuit, including the coveted Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival.

Director Grímur Hákonarson has started his next film, which is titled The County. Rams is also being remade in AustraliaClick here to read our interview with Grímur about Rams.
