Peter Haber joins the cast of ‘Britt-Marie Was Here’

The Swedish actor Peter Haber has joined the cast of the upcoming film Britt-Marie Was Here, Screen reports.

The drama/comedy film is about a 63-year-old woman who leaves her husband after forty years of marriage and ends up in a rural town, where she finds a new lease on life.

Pernilla August stars as Britt-Marie, the main character. Other cast members include Anders Mossling (The Bridge), Malin Levanon (Drifters) and Vera Vitali (Arne Dahl). Haber is best known for his roles in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Beck.

Britt-Marie Was Here has just begun shooting in Gothenburg, Sweden and is directed by the actress-turned-director Tuva Novotny (The King’s Choice, Borg vs McEnroe). The film is produced by SF Studios and the story is adapted by the novel from Fredrick Backman.

The Swedish release date is set for Christmas this year.
