Norwegian WWII drama THE 12TH MAN to be released on IFC Midnight

The Norwegian World War II drama The 12th Man will have a U.S release with IFC Midnight.

The film is based on the true story of a WWII resistance fighter in Norway named Jan Baalsrud. After the Nazis invaded Scandinavia, resistance fighters do their best to fight back. After a failed anti-Nazi sabotage mission leaves his eleven comrades dead, Jan ends up on the run from the Gestapo through the snowy Arctic.

IFC Midnight will release the film in selected theatres from the 4th of May, as well as on its on-demand service.

The 12th Man will also screen at the Moscow International Film Festival next week.
