Norwegian television series VALKYRIEN heads to Australia & Germany

The Norwegian thriller series Valkyrien is heading abroad thanks to distributor About Premium Content.

The eight-part series, produced by Tordenfilm for NRK, will screen in both Australia and Germany this year.

SBS Australia has picked up the rights for the series.

Valkyrien revolves around an illegal hospital in an Oslo underground station. There, a doctor treats criminals, emergency patients and others who can’t or won’t seek medical help in a regular hospital.

SBS will air the series later this year following the launch in the UK in June.
