Norwegian kids show picked up by German distributor

The Norwegian drama series ZombieLars has been picked up by German distributor Global Screen ahead of MipTV.

ZombieLars airs on the children’s channel NRK Super and follows a young boy who is half-zombie. Focusing on themes of tolerance and acceptance, it follows the adventures of the half-undead eleven-year-old boy who finds out that he lives next door to a ninja, a witch, a troll and a changeling.

The series is produced by Tordenfilm, who also produced the thriller series Valkyrien. It was created by Thomas Seeberg Torjussen and Gisle Halvorsen and received funding from Nordic Film & TV Fund and The Norwegian Film Institute.
