Norwegian film THE LION WOMAN sold worldwide

With the film still in post-production, TrustNordisk has sold The Lion Woman worldwide.

Directed by Vibeke Idsøe, The Lion Woman is based on the internationally acclaimed book by Norwegian author Erik Fosnes Hansen and stars Connie Nielsen (Nymphomanic) and Rolf Lassgård (Wallander, After the Wedding, A Man Called Ove) among others. The film is set between 1912 and 1937 and tells the story of Eva, who is born with hair covering her body. Despite the many challenges she has to face with her appearance, she manages to live an extraordinary life.

Norwegian release is set for the end of August, and the film has been sold to Benelux, South America, former Yugoslavia, Turkey and Hong Kong.
