Norwegian director Magnus Martens to direct FEAR THE WALKING DEAD

The Norwegian director Magnus Martens has announced via his Instagram account that he will be directing at least one episode of the U.S. series Fear the Walking Dead.

The series, which is set in the same world as the hit The Walking Dead, explores the onset of a zombie apocalypse as it follows a family. Survival of the fittest forces them to evolve, and choose whether to reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

Martens is best known for the film Jackpot, which is based on a Jo Nesbø story.

Fear the Walking Dead airs on AMC.
