The Norwegian director Arild Andresen, who has made over 1,000 commercials for Norway’s Moland Film Company, is currently working on his third feature, Handle With Care.

In this film, we follow offshore oil worker, Kjetil (Kristoffer Joner), who, after his wife’s death, has a hard time relating to their adopted son, Daniel. To find out more about the boy’s background, he takes Daniel back to Colombia to find his biological mother. Gradually Daniel gets used to life in Colombia and suddenly Kjetil is presented with an option that could change their lives.

Andresen has previous directed two films, The Liverpool Goalie (2010) and The Orheim Company (2012), which were both Norwegian productions. Handle with Care is a Norwegian-Dutch-Danish project, which will be released in the Netherlands in early 2017. Handle With Care is written by Hilde Susan Jaegtnes and Jorge Camacho.
