Norway & Belgium join forces in new distribution initiative

Norway’s Arthaus & Belgium’s Imagine Film Distribution have joined an expanded second edition of the distribution initiative launched last year by Poland’s Gutek Film with FestivalScope as SCOPE50, Screendaily reports.  Speaking to the international film site, the initiative’s architect Jakub Duszyński (head of distribution & acquisitions at Gutek Film), revealed details about the European distribution project.

In this new initiative, the six distributors will be able to choose their line-up of 10 titles from 25 selected by Festival Scope, with each territory likely to have a different line-up to offer 100 arthouse aficianados for viewing between the 15th of December and the 15th of January.

Arthaus has worked to distribute films to Norway from all corners over the globe.

This should hopefully result in a boost of films coming to Norway, and you can read the full article at ScreenDaily
