Nordic TV series sell around the world

Nordic television dramas have been sold around the world, thanks to London-based company DRG.

The Norwegian series Nobel was acquired by the Lumiere Group for Benelux and DBS Satellite Services for Israel, on top of the previously announced deal with Canal+ for France.

Another NRK drama, Eyewitness (2014), continues to gain interest and was just sold by DRG to HBO Europe, and a remake is currently airing on the USA Network.

Meanwhile, the Finnish crime drama Black Widows season one has been sold to Japan, Germany and Mexico has picked up season two. The Swedish remake was sold to Iceland, Australia and the US.

Keep an eye out for these series in your country!
