Nordic Series Days kicks off today

The Nordic Series Days is starting today in Oslo, with a packed programme ready to put the latest and greatest in television on display.

This is the first audience-oriented Nordic TV drama festival to take place, and in total 16 panels and presentations will happen throughout the festival.

Today they will present the new NRK series Vikingane, described as a cross between Monty Python and Game of Thrones. Also screening today is a sneak peek at Best Før, starring Linn Skåber.

Tomorrow the US remake of the Norwegian drama Eyewitness, set to premiere on NBC Universal’s USA Networks on the 16th of October, will be discussed. There will also be a discussion on the success of Skam, the Norwegian series that has found huge success both locally and now abroad.

Other premium dramas on display are Nobel, the third season of The LegacyAber Bergen, Costa del Konsvik, Valkyrien and Monster.
