The Nordic Film Winter Film Festival has announced its 2018 programme, with Nordic and Baltic films selected to screen in Prague between the 8th and 14th of February. This is the eighth year of the festival.

The festival will be launched by Finnish Ambassador Helena Tuuri, who will also introduce the opening film The Eternal Road, which is set in 1930 and follows a man who is forced by Finnish anti-Communists to make the long journey from Finland to Soviet Russia. His dream is to return to his family at any cost. The film recently was nominated for Best Finnish film at the Jussi Awards.
