Nobody’s Darling Receives NFI Support

The Norwegian Film Institute has given support to new features from Sara Johnsen and Yngvild Sve Flikke.  Nobody’s Darling is about a TV journalist named Unn Tove who fails to choose the man she is most attracted to, and is unfaithful at her own wedding. At the same time a baby girl, Rose Marie, is abandoned at a restaurant toilet. 17 years after Unn Tone meet Rose Marie, and together they set out to find the girl’s biological parents, disclosing the story of a young couple from Hønefoss that ends up in Copenhagen’s porn industry.

The film has received 12.5 million NOK from the NFI in production funding. Johnsen wrote the film and it is set to have an autumn 2015 release.
