New trailer released for ‘Neon Heart’

A new trailer for the Danish film Neon Heart has been released to coincide with the films screening at the San Sebastian Film Festival, which took place last night.

Directed by first-time feature director Laurits Flensted-Jensen, the film follows three different characters and how they find each other. The three characters are Laura, who is off to a porn film casting, Niklas, who is trying to care for two men with Down’s Syndrome, and Frederik, who is a hooligan. The film shows their past and their present, and how they chase life and each other.

The cast, which is made up of newcomers, includes Victoria Carmen Sonne, Christian Andersen Busk and Niklas Herskind.

Neon Heart premiered at the Athens International Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Picture. It is nominated for the ‘New Directors’ Award at San Sebastian.
