New job for acclaimed Bergman director

Stefan Larsson, one of our foremost Bergman interpreters, has been appointed director for the renowned Betty Nansen Theatre of Copenhagen. Among Larsson’s many earlier achievements, we count to no less than four stagings of three Bergman plays: Autumn Sonata andScenes From a Marriage at the Royal Dramatic Theatre, and two productions of Fanny and Alexander, in Aarhus (which he was heading at the time) and the Royal Dramatic Theatre. They were all great successes.
