New Finnish film about giant ants releases new trailer

The new Finnish film It Came From the Desert has released its first trailer.

Directed by Marko Mäkilaakso, the film follows Dr. Greg Bradley who arrives at a remote part of Nevada. As a geologist, he wants to study a recent site of a meteor crash somewhere in the desert. He notices that the meteor crash has enlarged a local ant population to an enormous size. Worried that the ants will mate and spread, he must work against time and stop the ants from terrorising the world.

The screenplay is written by Trend Haaga and Mäkilaakso and is part of the Nordic Genre Invasion, which supports Nordic genre films. This film stars Mark Arnold, Harry Lister Smith, Vanessa Grasse, Alex Mills, James Alper, Claudia Trujillo, Callum McGowan, and Aino Sirje.
