New Festival, Aarhus Independent Pixels, Calls For Submissions


Aarhus Independent Pixels hereby invite all Nordic, low-budget independent filmmakers and photographers to submit their work to AIP 2014.

Aarhus Independent Pixels 2014 will be held on October 17th – 19th and will be located at and around the newly established centre for cultural production ‘Godsbanen’ (www.godsbanen.dk) in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. It will be four intense days of celebrating Nordic, young independent film and photography talents with an abundance of screenings, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and contests of creativity.

The work of approximately 150 film and photography artists will be screened and exhibited at this year’s festival, but only 40 nominees divided into the 4 categories below will be accepted into the competition.

The categories open to submission are:

  • The Independent Short Short (narrative short film less than 5 min.)
  • The Independent Short (narrative short film less than 30 min.)
  • The Independent Photo (art photography – single product)
  • The Independent Photo Series (art photography – 2-5 products)
