New CEO at SF Studios

The newly formed SF Studios, once called the Svensk Filmindustri, has appointed a new CEO.

Former Endemol Nordics CEO Michael Porseryd has taken the top spot at the Scandinavian giant.

This follows a rather rough relaunch for the production company, with the former CEO departing after allegations of sexism and lavish spending, plus the director of A Man Called Ove, Hannes Holm, describing the company as ‘poorly managed’.

With fresh management the company can get off to a fresh start. Porseryd, who is currently the CEO of the TV web company Flow Network, will take on his new job in the first quarter of 2017. Among his previous senior positions were CEO of Endemol Nordics (2010 to 2015), COO and Executive VP, Metronome Film & Television, and head of MTG’s channel ZTV.
