Movotun Film Festival announces Iceland focus

This year’s Movotun Film Festival has been announced, and two Nordic films will compete in the main competition as well as a special focus on Icelandic cinema.

The two films that will compete in the main competition includes the Icelandic film Heartstone, which has so far won over thirty international film festival awards, and The Square, Ruben Ostlund’s latest film that just won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. 

The Motovun Film Festival takes place in Motovun, Croatia from the 25th of July until the 29th of July 2017. To learn more about the festival, click here.
